2015 will be the year of the flannel-wearing and pizza-loving.

Anticipation has been rising among pop punk listeners since last year when pop punk princes All Time Low and Blink-182 revealed they’d be releasing albums in early 2015. Other less well-known (but just as talented) bands, like The Story So Far and The Wonder Years followed.

Check out our list of the most anticipated pop punk album releases of 2015 below:

5) All Time Low
All Time Low has been around since 2005 when they released their first, full-length album, “This Party Scene.” It wasn’t until two years later with the release of “So Wrong, It’s Right” that All Time Low began to be taken seriously as a pop punk group. “So Wrong, It’s Right” gave us All Time Low classics, like “The Beach” and “Dear Maria”, which have become 7th and 8th grade anthems.

Since then, All Time Low has consistently released pretty solid records. Their latest, “Don’t Panic,” was released in 2012. “Don’t Panic: It’s Longer Now,” which featured four additional songs, charted at #19 on the Billboard 200, and #1 on the Billboard Independent Albums Chart with 13,505 first week copies sold. The band’s anticipated album, “Future Hearts,” is expected to be released in April of this year. The hype surrounding the album is real, especially after the release of the album’s first single, “Something’s Gotta Give” this past January. The single’s corresponding music video has received almost 2 million views on YouTube.

4) Blink-182
Blink-182 has been reigning as the kings of pop punk since the 1999 release of “Enema of the State” that featured hits such as “What’s my Age Again” and “All the Small Things” – both of which, to this day, are OU bar junkie favorites.

Blink’s anticipated album is to be the first following the 2011 release of “Neighborhoods” (which, by the way, kicked ass). According to AltPress, the album was expected to be released this summer. As of late, however, Blink-182 has been in the news due to disagreements between guitarist, Tom DeLonge, and Blink’s other members, Hoppus and Travis Barker, the band’s drummer. An official album release date has yet to be announced and with tensions as high as they are between the boys of Blink, it’s questionable whether an album will be released at all.

3) Neck Deep
UK natives, Neck Deep, announced in January that they’d finished putting the final touches on their new record. Neck Deep, who, in the last year, have significantly increased their fan base, released their latest album, “Wishful Thinking” in 2014, featuring fan favorites, “Losing Teeth” and “Growing Pains.” Neck Deep can attribute their gain in popularity to the release of “A Part of Me”, featured on the band’s 2012 EP, “Rain In July.” The corresponding music video has received over 2 million views on YouTube, which, for a fairly newly formed band out of Wrexham, North Wales, is a pretty big deal.

After an album as killer as “Wishful Thinking,” Neck Deep has set the bar pretty high for their second full-length album. Ben Barlow, Neck Deep’s frontman, was quoted in AltPress Magazine as saying, “When we started looking into recording album two we knew we wanted it to be bigger and better than Wishful Thinking.” Deciding to collaborate with A Day to Remember’s frontman, Jeremy McKinnon, was a good first step. At this point, an official album release date has yet to be announced.

2) The Story So Far
The Story So Far hasn’t released anything since 2013 when they proved yet again just how talented they are with “What You Don’t See,” their second full-length album. From the beginning, The Story So Far has consistently released incredible material. TSSF, a pop punk group out of central California, gained traction as a group with “Clairvoyant” off their 2013 split EP with Stick to Your Guns. Although it hasn’t been determined whether or not TSSF will be releasing a full-length album this year, AltPress has confirmed that we can look forward to new TSSF material in one way or another.

1) The Wonder Years
The Wonder Years, lyrical masters of the pop punk universe, haven’t released a record since 2013, when they bestowed upon us the brilliance that is “The Greatest Generation.” Early this year, The Wonder Years announced a new album to be released in late summer or early fall of this year. Their first album, “Get Stoked on It,”released in 2007, was a flop. The Wonder Years, who this year are celebrating ten years as a band, redeemed themselves with the release of “The Upsides” in 2010, which is arguably their best record to date.

Last year, TWY’s frontman, Dan “Soupy” Campbell was preoccupied with a solo project, Aaron West and The Roaring Twenties, and released “We Don’t Have Each Other” in July, which could explain why it’s been 2 years since a new TWY record. If The Wonder Years’ new record is anything like its predecessors (excluding “Get Stoked on It,”of course), we can expect nothing less than lyrical mastery and instrumental prowess. Seriously, get pumped. This album will undoubtedly melt faces.

2015 will undoubtedly be one of the best to date for pop punk listeners, offering a wide range of artists, including groups who haven’t released new material in some time, like The Story So Far, The Wonder Years and pop punk gods, Blink-182 (fingers crossed, anyways). Get excited. 2015 will be one for the books.

Honorable Mentions: Citizen, State Champs, Four Year Strong
